We are proud to share that Team 1671 recently earned the FIRST Impact Award at the Northern California District Championship — a recognition of the work our students do to create meaningful impact through STEM, service, and leadership.
That award qualified our team to compete at the FIRST World Championship in Houston, Texas, where we will join hundreds of teams from around the world.
Traveling to the World Championship means transportation, lodging, meals, registration-related costs, and getting our students and equipment to Houston safely.
Every gift helps reduce the cost burden on families and gives our students the chance to represent Buchanan, Clovis, and our entire community at the highest level of competition.
The FIRST Impact Award is not just about building a great robot. It honors teams that create lasting impact in their school and community by promoting science, technology, leadership, and opportunity.
For our students, this recognition reflects years of outreach, mentoring, service, and technical excellence. Competing at the World Championship gives them the opportunity to represent our community on one of the biggest stages in STEM.
