The Birds go Again for Another Week!

Did you know that a peregrine falcon can fly up to 240 mph? That’s almost as fast as our first competition is approaching! The Bird Brains are back at it again for week 5 of the 2023 build season.

ST Update

The ST side has been busy with plenty of new parts for the robot and finishing what they started. Speaking of, CAD is trying their hardest to perfect the new robot, then pass it off to our fabrication team. Fabrication manufactured pieces for our main subsystem, built most of our charge station, and finished assembling the remodeled drive base. Electronics also helped with the charge station along with router training and working on a documentation binder. Programming started fixing swerve code, working with Phoenix Pro, and helping make the charge station and other game pieces. Lastly, strategy continued working on pre scouting and started testing members on their team knowledge. 

IR Updates

The Workshop in a Box assembly has gotten some great progress and now the boxes just have to be put together and finalized. Once all the boxes are done, they will be ready to send out! The Impact Award team has also been working hard to get all the questions, script, and presentation done. Finally, our Open House invites have been sent out!
